Kevin of Lean Left wonders why Clinton and Obama have yet to come out in support of Dodd’s filibuster of the FISA bill, like John Edwards has. Maybe it is because they actually have a chance of being elected.
Sharon Cobb thinks that with Bill’s help in South Carolina, Hillary might actually have a shot at last place. I say keep up the good work Bill. Seriously though, I think Bill is still a pretty smart guy. If what he is doing in South Carolina pisses off all of the black people and Obama wins that bloc overwhelmingly, the Clintons will portray Obama as the “black candidate”. Obama, who so far has run a broad campaign, wisely shying away from the race issue, doesn’t need race to be an issue, even if he gets to play the victim.
