My Take On Florida

Oh well, another primary and another victory for the bad guys. As Evangelicals For Mitt put it, McCain won and conservatism lost. Some even think that tonight’s victory assures Mr. McCain of winning the nomination. As for Senator Clinton, she gained a moral victory, but no delegates. She is doing well though in most of the Super Tuesday states, as is McCain, who is set to get an endorsement from one of the other liberal Republicans, Rudy Guiliani. I agree with this leftwing blogger, who simply wrote “McCain is bad”. Others who are reliably conservative, have promised not to vote in November if McCain is the nominee.

This is a bad and disappointing day for America. Apparently, as Craig Thomas pointed out, the lies McCain spread about Romney’s statements regarding Iraq and timetables were quite effective. Still though, once again McCain lost among Republicans, using independents to give him another victory.

Is it over though on the Republican side? I hope not. What about the Democrats? I think this thing is a long way from being decided, but a few people are already taking guesses at who McCain’s and Clinton’s running mates are going to be.

For the sake of this country, let’s hope neither of those two is their party’s eventual nominee.

CNN asked Hilly last night if she would go to court to get the Florida and Michigan to count.

She grinned like a possum eatin’ sawbriar.

I hope it comes down to her having to pull a stunt like that. Man that would be fun to watch.

Sorry for my illiterate first comment. What I meant to say was that she was asked if she’d go to court in an attempt to have the delegates count.
