I watched the end of the debate and I thought Hillary won. She sat there with a smurk on her face and he seemed like he was just too young to be up there.
The debate was pretty close to a tie, and tie goes to the front runner.
Oh, and yeah, I remember the CNN GOP debates. With probing questions like “raise your hand if you don’t believe in well-established science,” it was hard not to be impressed…
It’s hard to tell whether her smugness was effective or not though. It may have backfired. It’s really hard for people that already view her negatively, to be changed by anything. Its almost too late to craft her image. Obama on the other hand, comes across as a pleasant person and that is also hard to change in people’s minds. I really think that Hillary has topped out. People blame her campaign, but I don’t think it has anything to do with that. Its just those high negatives.
