A haiku, for no other reason than to bring to light this nice graphic of the Site Stat Suckage at MCB

her goofy hat
full of moonbat

Has anyone seen the site stat suckage from MCB? The last three months haven’t been encouraging.
Shame, that, ’cause I like Ivy.
Hey, this is open. My haikus suck worse than MCB’s stats.
Feel free to edumacate me on haiku symmetry…
;D
Just so everyone knows. This post was not written by Glen Dean. I don’t want any part of this
Also, they still get a lot more visitors than this site. I think we need some female posters over here.
Glen!
That’s not in proper haiku form…
;D
Yea, this place is a sausagefest.
Women who can think critically are cool. If you can ever find one do give them a login.
I wish I could point you in the right direction on this one. The last one I’ve encountered is Laurie Kendrick but she’s not from around these parts.
“..not from around these parts…”
Neither is SondraK, who not only thinks critically, but does a fine-looking job as well.
And, RightwingSparkle, Dr. Helen, Darleen Click, Michelle Malkin…
I wonder if Lissakay is busy? Knoxville isn’t all that far.
Well, either the new editor model will work out, or it won’t. It makes me no nevermind, to be honest, I’m trying the best I can. Really, though, I’m working hardest on my first love,
Home Ec 101. Y’all come see me over there, k?But achieving a full leftwing “staff” was the order of the day, right Ivy? All that “we’re inclusive kumbaya” stuff was bullshit.
Ned Williams hangs around because he’s a obviously a masochist. When you create a place that democommie wants to call a home away from home, you’ve really shit the bed in terms of community building.
Brian: Don’t stay away mad at MCB… just stay away.
.
No Jeff, I’ll throw a little girlie hissy fit like you did a couple of months ago.
Their content makes staying away an easy decision. I’m not mad about anything.
Yours doesn’t look at all like a Haiku to me, Serr8d. At least, you don’t have it aligned properly…
It’s not the haiku for you?
Yous, then,
when?
Ivy, I remember when in the 6th grade I think the home ec class and the shop class swapped roles once. All the guys went over to the home ec portable and cooked in their ovens; the girls came to shop and played with the lathes and the band saws (now, you’ll have to understand this was in the early ’70’s and roles were pretty much defined by sex…)
I burned the shit out of some french fries.
MCB has changed, it is remarkably controversy free. I still read it. I do like the food reviews. But there isn’t much to comment about.
No offense intended, but it is more like the current version of NIT, than the old MCB. Some people like that as some old MCBers have come back. Some people have left, as it is, no offense intended, more boring. It is much more opinion free. Which for me makes it like a magazine more than a blog.
I can still post there, but coming up with content is much more difficult. It feels constrained. I have abandoned several posts because the feel is so different.
Ivy, I’ve an ad I’d like to run on your Home Ec 101 site…
(ducks!)
I pissed democommie off so badly once, in NIT, that he whipped out an email to me, using his real name.
Now, it might just be his Brazilian loverboy who bent to bat for him, but I’ve noticed DC has given me wide berth since that slip-up.
Which is exactly what makes me happiest.
It all started with the righteous KC and me being banned. People being allowed to dish it out but not take it.
Ivy is awesome. Not enough people like herat MCB.
Who’s that homeless fellow that posted there a few times? I think that’s Homeless Jim, who called in to some AM talk shows, before being banned from those.
There’s an image I found somewhere the other day that reminded me of him.
He should try this sometimes. Pretty innovative, actually.
I mean KC being righteous, and me being banned… I know she quit. I started the that infamous ‘unicorn thread.’
serr8d - do feel free to forward me that information.
Brian, it wasn’t actually the intent although I know it appears that way. Malia is quite conservative although non-political, I think. And, of course, there is Ned, who I adore even though I totally don’t agree with him politically. I’m glad he’s there, though, I think he’s got a very interesting persepctive.
And I know you guys think it’s boring, but the fact is, when it comes down to it, I wanted a site I liked to look at every day, not a constant war zone. Sorry y’all find it boring. But you guys have this place, so it all works out, right?
And I’m not getting 53 million complaint emails a day. That cheers me up immensely.
9, you are still welcome to post there anytime. You know I think you’re fab. Do let me know when you’ve saved something, though, so I know to post it.
And just so you know, Serr8d, I was just sitting on Jeffraham’s porch last weekend telling him how wonderful I think you are.
Oh, crap, I forgot to respond to your “ad request”, Serr. If you can afford it, by all means, hahaha. The price goes way up for that kinda stuff though.
(hey, heather and I need the money! btw…heather? big, BIG conservative. there’s a balanced site politically if there ever was one. except we don’t talk politics, probably because we’d kill each other or something.)
Now, Brian, you know me well enough to know I won’t do that. Personal email is pretty much something I would not divulge, unless someone waterboarded me (and I’ve kayaked, so being underwater isn’t that horrific a thought, as long as I roll with it).
I wondered, Ivy, why I burn so much foodstuffs. Now I know…’conservative’ cooking. Thankfully, my minute rice recipe hasn’t needed much changing over the years. Grilling of all sorts is my forté. I had a nice pair of steaks a couple nights ago. By the full moon.
And, on the other side of the aisle, I loves me some sushi~! Go figure…
(Ruined JP’s evening, did you? And you thought that was chicken…)
;D
Ruined JP’s evening, did you?
Naw, she must’ve said it when I wasn’t listening to her.
