Liberals And Their Utter Contempt For Average Americans
David Oatney wrote a really good post on the fallout of Obama’s little Freudian slip yesterday.
The Democratic Party can’t play the game of class warfare anymore, and from the tone and tenor of Obama’s words, it sounds like he and the Democratic Party are the ones who are bitter.
This is a political party whose leaders know little about the America they are claiming to be representative of, and that shows in the attitude reflected in the comments from Obama and those in the Democratic Party who are like him. This is not a mentality that is exclusive to Obama, but it is a widespread feeling within the socio-political circles of the Left-the people who run the national Democratic Party. These folks believe that they can dish a bunch of class warfare rhetoric to those of us out in Real America, and that will be enough to get us to vote with them. When we do not do so, the elitist side of the Left shows when they accuse us of not voting our economic or social best interest.
Who died and gave these people the right to determine just what our best interests happen to be? Apparently, the almighty oligarchy of the intellectual Left has a better idea of our interests than we do. People in the Heartland can sense that the Left has a general “we’re better than you” attitude about them. Barack Obama gave public voice to that reality in San Francisco. Obama will now get drubbed in Pennsylvania. If he is nominated, the Republicans will destroy him in the fall.
He is spot on. The Democrats love to play the class warfare game, but the dirty little secret is, that most of these elites despise and have a utter contempt for regular everyday Americans. They see most of America as inferior to them. Just read William sometimes. If you think he is on the fringe, you are wrong. He is the mainstream of modern liberalism today.
Liberals in general, think that most of you are a bunch of racists, sexists, homophobes, hayseeds, rednecks, and all around inferiors. The fact is, they despise this country. They really do. You want to talk about bitter. If anybody is bitter, angry and hate filled, it is the left in this country. Anger is the driving force of everything they do. Some of them aren’t even really sure who they are angry at. They just know that they are angry.

My opinions are based on facts, stats, etc… not bigotry. Am I bitter? No, just disappointed in Americans, and because of two really bad elections, America has paid the price. Hopefully Americans will become more aware and learn from their mistakes. Maybe next time the smart people will get to elect the president.

This is called a strawman attack. It shows the irrationality of the right wing - their need to swiftboat anyone who points out inconvenient truths.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a more pretentious, ostentatious, snobbish, snooty, snotty, and self-aggrandizing pronouncement in my life. That you, a simple guitar picker, could deem yourself worthy to decide what anyone else should think and how they should vote is just an example of how far out of touch you are with the real, live ‘other people’ who make up America. ‘Elitist’ isn’t strong enough.
