Fox News: working class people are people of low social class
Fox News pundit Fred Barnes enjoys putting the working class in their place - labeling the working class as the lower class - people of ‘low social class and less education.’
They couldn’t contain their laughter. Wealthy white Republican men on Fox News were laughing as they explained what constitutes a “downscale voter.” Brit Hume opened the segment by asking Barnes to elaborate on his view that many of Hillary Clinton’s supporters are “downscale.” Barnes goes on to demean the majority of Americans, anyone who actually labors for a living is not as good as him - is of a low social class with less education - and that would include those that support Hillary. Check out the discussion:
Brit Hume: Fred Barnes has a view that all those that support Hillary Clinton are ‘downscale’
Fred Barnes: I can explain why we use the phrase ‘working class’. It is a euphemism because it’s kind of mean to say, ‘lower class.’ … Lower class, lower income, less education…
Hume: You’re not talking about lower social class are you?
Barnes: That too … means all that.
Watch this discussion, watch them laugh in the face of working class Americans and demean them. At least Hume tries to distance himself from the elitism. That’s part of the GOP plan. Keep the people poor and too dumb to know whats going on so they keep voting Republican. Confuse them and lure them in with buzz words like ‘moral values’ … ‘cut and run’ ‘tax and spend Democrats’… take advantage of the fact that they’re too busy working that they don’t have time to really find out what is going on. They won’t know what is being taken from them. Now, finally after 8 years, reality is beginning to sink in.
As opposed to the liberal left that decries the “Southernization” of America?
Even rednecks can learn. (except Glen)
