Early Electoral Map…because the President is elected by the Electoral College

From the New York Times… Tennessee is safe, it seems. Safe from falling for and completely accepting the leftist socialist sorts who would hasten our rush to the “Post-industrial Stone Age”. I for one am not ready for Al Gore’s ‘Little House on the Prairie’ economic model. Which is exactly what we will see if we allow proggtards to socialize this nation.
“Here are what the Obama and McCain campaigns now consider the true battleground states going into the fall campaign, assuming — as both candidates now do — that Barack Obama is likely to win his party’s nomination. In addition to these states, both sides have states that they say (or rather hope) will come into play in the months ahead — think New Jersey for Republicans and Georgia for Democrats — but for the time being, this is where the action is going to be.”
The President is elected by the Electoral College , not by “opinion polls“. Sneer quotes purposive.
It’ll probably come down to FL, and OH again, where Clinton is leading McCain in both states. With the dream ticket, even some states deep in the heart of jesusland aren’t safe for McSame. It’ll be over before it starts… landslide.
I don’t know if you are aware or not William, but Clinton is not running in November. Obama is though and he is getting his ass kicked in both states. Maybe you guys are having a little buyer’s remorse right now with Barry. Maybe you are all realizing that you made a mistake and nominated a guy who can’t win the general. Maybe, heh. Of course you are.
Bush “won” the election in 00 by a few hun=dred votes in FL
He then again won in 04 by a narrow margin in OH.
Both very close electoral contests.
Considering these narrow margins, do you honestly believe that voters will think things have so gone well under Bush to warrant voting for McSame? McSame, a pro war candidate in an anti war America, an anti-abortion rights guy in a pro-choice America… good luck.
Of course logic, facts, knowledge are not conservative virtues, it’s all about ideology. Ideologue wingnuts are adherents of closed, ideological systems, in which all problems are ultimately attributed to a single cause: liberals. An ideologue doesn’t believe that he needs to know the details of an issue in order to make pragmatic decisions because his ideology provides him with a ready formula for solving all problems. It’s black and white. You depend on others with this limited ability to reason to further your agenda.
Fix two words in that diatribe, and suddenly William is describing himself.
