You Gotta Love Bill Hobbs

Just the mention of his name, causes the panties of Tennessee liberals from Memphis to Knoxville, to simultaneously wad up. Aunt B is so obsessed with Bill that she has written not one, not two, not three, not four, not five, but six, yes that’s six posts about Bill Hobbs within the last week.

I don’t know Bill personally. I met him once at a Channel 2 blogger gathering, but only briefly. One thing I do know, is that nobody pisses off Tennessee liberals more effectively than Bill.

That’s a good thing, by the way. It’s actually good for the liberals, because if they somehow make it through a whole day without being outraged, appalled, shocked, or offended, then they are in danger of being happy, and happiness threatens their survival as a species. They need someone to make their blood boil in order to survive, and Bill is kind enough to deliver.

Ha, no, I have to say, watching Bill Hobbs be so obviously Bill Hobbs makes me exceedingly happy. I thought it might be good fun to sneak a call to Robin Smith, angling for Hobbs’s job while at the same time openly criticizing the job he’s doing, but I think only Brittney Gilbert would have appreciated the poetic justice of that, so I haven’t done it. I just love how he dishes it out and then seems so dang shocked when people dish back. I find that hilarious.

Aunt B, I like Brittney also, but she has done a few things herself. I’m not judging her though, or Bill for that matter. Sometimes we all take this too seriously. As for angling for his job, I’m just not sure a job with the State GOP is right for you. It just doesn’t seem like a good fit.

Oh hey Brittney, um didn’t see you there.

I got to say something about this last little thing that got everybody so upset. I respect women, open car doors and all that, and I didn’t see anything wrong with that ad. I mean, it was poorly done and kind of boring, but all they did was show a video of her saying something that she obviously said, and then commenting about it. It’s just politics. They didn’t violate her honor or anything. Obama’s comment “lay off of my wife” was also just politics. It’s always good for a candidate to stand up for or stand by his woman. The GOP gave him an opportunity to look like a real man, and he took it. I doubt he was offended though. Michelle is a strong woman, probably stronger than him, as a matter of fact. Barack is kind of a sissy, but that’s beside the point. She’s a big girl. This whole thing was just a bunch of politics. The only ones really offended were the ones that hated Republicans and Hobbs to begin with. Heck, deep down they probably weren’t even offended.

No, Glen, I’m just joking because Hobbs has been known to angle for the jobs of my friends while criticizing them. I don’t want to work for the GOP, I just like contemplating doing to Hobbs what he does to others. That tickles me, too.

I know you were joking. Good grief. I was joking too. We’re all a bunch of jokesters.

Here, take a Milwaukee’s Best, and we’ll call it even.

The header on that post is hilarious. I bet you were spitting all over the monitor when you typed it. Probably damaged the keyboard from banging it so hard.

    HDS for sure.

I do believe that the more Bill Hobbs acts like Bill Hobbs, the more Republicans will be voting for a Democrat in the general election.

William, are you and democommie a couple? It is sad to see one person reply to your posts.
