Evil Oil Companies Now Refusing To Drill And Make Evil Profits
To the President’s credit, he finally seized upon this golden political opportunity, and called for Congress to allow increased oil exploration.
And what was the Democratic response?
This is funny. After spending all of this time painting the evil oil companies as a bunch of profit hungry, heartless SOBs, Rham Emanuel now accuses them of hoarding oil. Yes, he accuses them of not drilling and taking advantage of this awesome opportunity to make obscene profits. I’m serious.
Then he says that there are 14 years worth of oil in those areas that the oil companies are allowed to drill, but refuse to for some reason. Nobody knows where he got that number. Perhaps he pulled it out of his ass.
Unbelievable!

I heard it last weekend on Fox as well.
Some guy on one of the business shows said the oil companies are only drilling in 20% of the land they have permits for.
Can’t find anything on it, however.
