Diversity vs. McSameness

Looking at the campaign paraphenalia of each candidate, one is struck by the sheer diversity of the constituency that Obama seeks vs McCain. The main difference seems to be that Obama’s campaign is all about the people, targeting many diverse ethnic groups while McCain’s campaign is all about himself, touting flattering words like ‘honor,’ ‘integrity,’ ‘leadership’, ‘experience’… oh, and there’s a button that says: “Irish for McCain”,  to a casual observer, it looks like the White Christian Conservative Party of the “Red”(neck) states vs. everyone else.

Did I say anything about entitlement for ethnic groups? No, YOU did.

Just pointing out that you won’t find much ethnic diversity in the Republican constituency… and by your biggoted comments, I’m sure you like it that way.

Oh and by the way… you should not be such a coward so as to post under a false name, particularly as a contributer here. I thought you guys at the the Front Porch would’ve learned that from ‘mjcooper = Cameron Clark” event
    Robert = Nathan

“Robert” … a first time poster. Hmmmm, right.

  3. William, 3. July 2008, 11:47

So now Nathan is “red letter man” on my blog. How do you like workin’ for Dave?

    Glen,

I would just like to point something out. You can give William access to the site without giving him access to Sitemeter.

It’s clear that he’s using it for means other than simply to monitor how many reichwingers are devastated by his brilliant analysis. And precisely why I would never even consider visiting Tennesseefree from work.

    Thanks.

Yep. Cyberstalker. He’ll even post your personal info on his blog to try and “discredit” you.

I do believe people have been sued and fired for doing such things…

  6. William, 3. July 2008, 17:25

    Glen,
The info came from MY sitemeter on MY blog. Not TN Free.

    Captn,
I found your identity from IT people within your system, not by my own hacking. We both know why your identity was revealed. Ask Tony.

BTW… I know almost everyone’s identity who comments here. So what, I’m not a threat to anyone. ; )

Yes, my identity was revealed because you “had to know” who I was. And even if you knew who I was, you didn’t have to reveal it on your blog. But you did. Even provided my picture.

The only reason someone would do that would be as a threat. And I’ve looked into it. The FBI takes that shit very seriously. So you might want to stop doing that, or someone who’s not as happy-go-lucky as me might just drop a dime on you.

You mean you don’t want to take personal responsibility for the views you express?

  9. Serr8d, 4. July 2008, 8:05

    What the?

Comment 1, Comment 2, and Comment 3 seem to be William discoursing with himself.

Not an unusual thing, I guess, if liquor is involved.

    Or pot.

But, William, you did screw up when you attempted to reveal someone’s personal information. I’ve already pointed out what happened to Dr. Deb Frisch, who is much like you, William. Alcohol, posting; you know that sort of thing is just asking for trouble.

Brian, unfortunately, Wordpress keeps log of the IP of commenters. Better than sitemeter, really.

William, I live in the same county as you.

    Come for me, dahling.

    ;D

  11. William, 4. July 2008, 9:35

I know you and Brian are close, maybe the same

  12. Brian, 4. July 2008, 13:12

Maybe. Maybe you and me are the same too. Except I’m not gay.

  13. William, 4. July 2008, 13:23

Hey Brian/Serr8d, Look for me tonight at riverfront, I’m in the green Sea Ray with the two beautiful women up front.

I usually put in at Lock Two Park when I go downtown. Cleeses Ferry on the west side, but that’s a bit dangerous now. People sit on the top and throw glass beer bottles on the ramp. A buddy has a slip at Commodore, but he’s in Florida today. I’m prolly going out on the Stones and access Priest later…that traffic downtown, even in the boats, is horrific. Twice I’ve done that July 4th fireworks show, and both times I come away with some damage…once at the take-out (Lock Two) and that time with the barge on the west side…

  15. William, 4. July 2008, 14:26

This is the girl’s idea, I’m ‘a path less traveled’ guy. I was going to put in at SHelby pk but I’ve never done that and would imgine the traffic, parking etc… would suck. I’ll be going through Old Hickory lock and taking the 28 mile long ass trip. The things I do for women… guess I’m pw’d. Sometimes it’s good though, especially with 2.

You mean you don’t want to take personal responsibility for the views you express?

Speaking of personal responsibility, if some loon who reads your blog tracks me down and hurts me or my family because of the info you posted on your blog, am I responsible for not owning my opinion?

  17. William, 5. July 2008, 0:33

    paranoid

  18. CaptainBrainstorm, 5. July 2008, 8:52

So you’re saying, should a scenario like that play out, you have no responsibility in the matter whatsoever, William?

  19. William, 5. July 2008, 9:14

If you can’t stand by what you say, don’t say it.

  20. CaptainBrainstorm, 5. July 2008, 9:20

So, you wouldn’t be responsible, is that what you’re saying? Come on, William. It’s a simple yes or no question.

  21. Serr8d, 5. July 2008, 12:33

William, it’s accepted all over the ‘net that what you did was in bad form.

Aren’t you the one who clings to polls and opinions?

Face your assholic action, repent, and do wrong no more!

(Or, be stubborn and sullen and try to argue the point.)

..wait, we’re talking William here. Nevermind. Carry on, Dom Coyote~!

  22. William, 5. July 2008, 14:59

I repent. Captn must be worried, Obama has an 11 point lead in WI

  23. CaptainBrainstorm, 5. July 2008, 15:37

Now do you understand why it’s a douchebag thing to do to post people’s info online?

  24. CaptainBrainstorm, 5. July 2008, 20:09

    I repent.

So you beg for forgiveness then? An apology? Will this mean you’ll do the right things and remove my personal info and photos from places you’ve posted?

Captn must be worried, Obama has an 11 point lead in WI

Yeah, I’m worried someone unhinged due to political angst may take it out on me or my family. It seems to be an illness liberals seem to have.

  25. William, 5. July 2008, 21:08

I’m worried someone unhinged due to political angst may take it out on me or my family.

Yea? What side are the gun nuts generally on?

So what you’re saying is that you are too cowardly to stand for your beliefs, you’d rather hide than take responsibility for what you say, and you feel threatened because your beliefs are so much on the minority fringe that you feel like you might be persecuted. Is that what I’m hearing, Captn?

  26. Serr8d, 6. July 2008, 0:23

William. Put up or shut up.

Post one story of a ‘gun nut’ who has shot and killed anyone, anytime, because of their liberal leanings. No, I’m not talking about criminals who misuse guns. I mean people who are NRA members or concealed carry permit holders who have injured leftists ‘just because’ they disagree. You’ll have a hard time. Such stories are gold to the MSM; they would make headline news.

You repent, then drink a few sternos and repent of your repenting?

Jeeze, man, step away from de box. Play your fiddles or something. This stuff is warping your brain.

I can see it’s going to be pointless to keep asking you to do the right thing. I’ve explained my concerns. You’re such a callous person, so wrapped up in political ideology, that you want harm to befall those you argue with, even harm to fall upon their loved ones and even their children.

There’s no doubt in my mind any more. You’re a true psychotic, William.
