Here is a photo uploaded on April 13, five days before Trig was born, to compliment Serr8d’s post. I can’t believe we even have to do this. You people, including turncoat Andrew Sullivan, are nothing but a bunch of nutcases. Do you even realize how wrong and sexist it is to attack a 16 year old girl like this. Good Lord, do you all have no shame whatsoever?

UPDATE: Palin’s teenage daughter, the one whose privacy has been repeatedly violated, is revealed to be five months pregnant. Hopefully, this will put all of the nonsense to rest. Hopefully.

No where in the Bible is such a command hinted in reference to “as soon as possible”.
I realize that it’s likely you haven’t had a great portrait of Christianity delivered to you through your personal experience & observations of other Christians (I know I’m saddened by a greater conformity to the culture most church goers commit to rather than a commitment to living out what they say they believe which might actually cause more skeptics & antagonists to notice a worthwhile & admirable difference rather than spew venom - and understandably so in many cases - of the hypocrisy which stems from the church).
Yet, I write to ask you to explore Christianity for what it’s supposed to be and the clearest path to do so is by exploring the words of Christ for yourself. You can start by clicking on the TinyUrl link above which will take you to the book of John, as good as any place to start. Then maybe Romans. Reading the books of Corinthians will show you that even 1st century Christians blew it BIG time with respect to their practice of Christianity and needed rebuking from the Apostle Paul early on.
With respect to Bristol Palin, does this show that (1) Sarah & Todd aren’t perfect parents (2) that abstinence education programs don’t work or that (3) children, even under the best efforts of well intentioned parenting, sometimes (often!) don’t behave in a manner honoring of their upbringing?
1 - definitely, but who is!?
2 - not necessarily, though those w/an ax to grind will say so
3 - absolutely, undeniable by the left or the right and all in between and outside!
There are many examples of abstinence programs which have been successful in getting public school kids to change their behavior for the better and correlating benefits from abstinence can also be sited.
I came across many examples across the country in this paper (link to follow) but also came across this appalling statement which I’d love to read comments on from any reader:

serr8d, bad question. Obama is on record for stating if his daughter made a “mistake” he would have her have an abortion. (Yes, he said “support” her decision for one…but that’s Demo-talk for forcing her to have one.) For all we know, it’s already happened and they covered it up. Since the media is in love with him, they won’t report it.
strange thing , to me, is that political hypothisizing, scandal investigation, rumor mills…seem to be old hat, and all men are subject to it (which is why I would never enter such a mentally unhealthy world)
