Wow.

A couple things regarding Bristol Palin’s pregnancy. First, I hope–HOPE, that her decision to keep (as opposed to place for adoption–chopping up said human isn’t an option) the child and marry the father has been made completely without regard to her mother’s professional goals.

Second, it is disheartening to observe the Left’s reaction to the report (in the comments).

Next, even people with morals fall short of their standards. That doesn’t mean that we should do away with morals.

Lastly, teaching kids that self-control is inferior to birth control isn’t the answer to out-of-wedlock births. And using a teenage daughter as a demagogic prop is wrong.

    Sarah did not force the live or let die decision on Bristol. Rather, Bristol reached into her own heart and made the choice for life. The correct choice.

    That was Bristol’s decision, based on her own moral character. Now, that decision’s foundations were there because of and buttressed by her mother’s lifelong support of moral principles. Bristol also knows that her child is welcome. A new life, celebrated by good people.

    This is just another opportunity to allow the Democrats to further hoist themselves by their own retard.

    Ask this question of an Obama supporter:

    If Obama or Biden had a 17 year old pregnant daughter would that disqualify them from the office they seek?

    YES or NO

    omg… A textbook definition of ’shotgun wedding’. The kids have no choice. The sick thing is these assholes want to take you and your daughter’s choice away too. They think their way is all for christ and they must force it on all of us. Judgement we must not believe in. THESE PEOPLE ARE DANGEROUS. Not only is their judement flawed…. They have no respect for women’s rights. They want to force all teens to bear children in these circumstances. They absolutely believe God tells them what our laws should be. Scary.UnAmerican. Illogical. Fanatical. DANGEROUS SELF-RIGHTEOUS IDIOTS!

    We already know how Barack Obama feels about the issue:

    “Look, I got two daughters — 9 years old and 6 years old,” he said. “I am going to teach them first about values and morals, but if they make a mistake, I don’t want them punished with a baby. I don’t want them punished with an STD at age 16, so it doesn’t make sense to not give them information.”

    He was already punished with two brats. He doesn’t want any grandbrats anytime soon.

    Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is going to be a grandmother…
