Remembering What the Democratic Party Stands For

In honor of Serr8d’s very positive post, I remind you of this statement by the Democratic Leader of the United States Senate. Lest we never forget what the Democratic Party stands for.

Defeat, appeasement, failure, negativism.

You can call apple butter ice cream, if you like.

    It’s still apple butter.

JP, you’re flailing about, making little sense.

Meds run out this week? We could set up a bleg for you, maybe, until the cheese check comes in at the first of the month..?

    Mutton will be affordable.

The Democrat’s weak-thought party is fully shifted to the left of the political spectrum by their overly privileged, elitist, classist leaders who think Conservatives are dumb because we aren’t beholden to their soft identity-politics worldviews. There’s a crust of Republicans who feel the same way; the elitist sorts who bashed Sarah Palin for ‘not being like us’: not being of the upper-genteel Harvard or Columbia sorts for the nth generation pedigrees. Sarah Palin graduated from a state-level college! A first-generation escapee from the middle-class! How dare she think she could lead a nation consisting of these upper-crust sorts who know so much more than any middle class moose-dresser!

Purge the ‘R’ party of all of those elitist sorts who believe that only the upper class can lead America. Anyone who bashed Sarah Palin (out of fear rather than reason) can hit the door. Noonan, Frum, all of ‘em, out.

Rusty, we know you’re a guy who owns his own business, a private plane, and is obviously about to have his marginal tax rate raised from 36% to 39%. A wildly successful guy like yourself just had a chance to interview four candidates for two jobs. Extensively, over many months.

You’re gonna say with a straight face that out of those four candidates, you would have hired Sarah Palin to take one of those two positions to work for your business?

if you think he is a man of the world he has you fooled too. He is a closet arab and he beleives in taking form the rich and giving to someone who has never worked a day in his life. Remember what Thomas Jefferson. He cannot do what he promised. Hilter promised everybody a rose garden and caused 200 million death. GOD help us.

America is headed down the tubes.

    GOD help us.

Have you considered suicide? Or do you know what that word means?

JP, if it’s projection you’re into, suicide is painless. I suggest burying yourself in cat litter; maybe one of your kittahs will do you a favor by covering you up.

Painless, unless, of course, you use a chainsaw..
