AC tipped me off to this story from Forbes. I have to tell you though, I don’t buy it. Now I can see Memphis. That place is a toilet. No offense Tgirsch. But there is no way that Nashville is more dangerous than Washington, Atlanta, or even Birmingham. Agree?

CQ Press published their 2008-2009 crime/city listings in Nov. 2008. Here we see (pdf) that Nashville is #53; New Orleans is #1, followed by Camden NJ then that cesshell Detroit. Memphis is #14.
I think Nashville and Memphis are qualified as ‘transit points’ for Mexican drug cartels. Nice. Blame the laissze-faire illegal immigration stance of our Joke of a State Legislature, and that clown-buffoon Governor we’re saddled with.
I lived in nashville nd hav personally been robbed, shot at, and have seen the city at its worst. As far as it being number 9 I’m not sure if I agree with that but def. Top 20
