As should be crystal clear by now, “those individuals” that worked on the “past files of the CIA” “at the time” were not necessarily the most even handed and/or disinterested arbiters of the truth. The CIA has a big bone in this fight, and it rests completely in implicating Pelosi, Harman and other members of Congress
Also, it was reported today the CIA cannot vouch for the complete accuracy of details in a memo outlining who was briefed on the CIA’s “harsh interrogation”.
In a letter from CIA chief Leon Panetta to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Silvestre Reyes and ranking House Intelligence Republican Pete Hoekstra, Panetta says the information about the briefings is taken from the “best recollections” of those who were there.
‘Best recollections’ by the guilty - meant to try and spread the blame for war crimes.
