Paul Krugman Amuses Me
February 5th, 2010 . by glendeanHe really did write this. No, I’m serious.
If anything, deficits should be bigger than they are because the government should be doing more than it is to create jobs.
Unbelievable!
So when Krugman’s Keynesianism fixes everything, what’s next?
So once the economic crisis is past, the U.S. government will have to increase its revenue and control its costs. And in the long run there’s no way to make the budget math work unless something is done about health care costs.
Yes of course. Raise taxes, and nationalize healthcare. It never ends with these people.
And they gave this stupid son of a bitch a Nobel Prize in Economics?
“You know, Paul, Reagan proved deficits don’t matter”
– Dick Cheney, Nov. ‘02, speaking to Bush’s Treasury Sec. Paul O’Neill when he warned Bush and Cheney of a looming fiscal crisis.
That is why we are where we are.
Absolutely JTF, Obama’s 1 plus trillion dollar deficits this year and every year after this is all because Dick Cheney allegedly said in 2002 that deficits don’t matter. Absolutely genius.
And they gave this stupid son of a bitch a Nobel Prize in Economics?
Hey, they gave that other stupid son of a bitch the Nobel Peace Prize this year. Why ruin the Nobel track record?
Washington politics in a nutshell - SLAM DUNK.

If you didn’t like that, Glen, then you really won’t like this.
